About Riftculture

 

 

Welcome to Riftculture! This is a personal venture born from my lifelong passion for keeping tropical fish, with over 30 years dedicated to African cichlids. Unlike many businesses, I focus on importing fish exclusively for breeding rather than for sale. I’m quite selective about the strains I breed, aiming to work with wild F1 stock or the highest quality specimens available. This commitment ensures that the fish offered for sale are of exceptional quality and will continue to improve as they grow.

 

Our fish house is conveniently located at my home, so viewings and pickups are by appointment only. Please note that, due to space limitations, insurance requirements, and the nature of the operation, young children are not permitted on the premises. Riftculture is fully licensed and holds an animal welfare license issued by 

East Cambridgeshire District Council, with the license number 25/02761ANIMAL.
